I’m just about to embark on an exciting new residency project with Dundee Design Festival! Design x Factory is a programme which links designers with industry professionals allowing them to learn new skills and take their practice forwards in interesting new ways. I have been partnered with John Riddell a Scientific Glassblower working in the chemistry department of Glasgow University. We’ve been encouraged not to think in terms of an end product but instead to learn and experiment. At this very early stage I’ve already realised how tough glass work is going to be to master! But I’ll be recording my progress here…….
